The answer is YES, and we start to show our proof of concept in a collaboration with stories AG on that more often this year in the marketing and trend events. Being a winner at TechTour Switzerland, we pitched Largo at Future22 to a global investor network and answered questions about our future vision on the growth of the company.

At this year’s EFM, we brought 30 movie projects analysed by AI in a pitching event on February 11th. With fifteen European and fifteen American producers, the filmmakers pitched their films during the two sessions

Our team has participated in Trieste Film Festival. Sami Arpa joined the event as a panelist along with the journalist Elena Neira, Ali Vahdati, the founder of Digital-i SODA, and Sarah Calderón & Celia Fumanal from the Film Agency. In the panel, “Future thinking of data analysis in audiovisual industry” was discussed.

“To produce their films and series, Netflix and Amazon have already proven that it works. According to Sami Arpa, founder of Largo.ai, artificial intelligence can also be an opportunity for independent cinema.”

It turns out that the way we humans arrive at a decision will be one of the key components to whether or not mass adoption of AI technologies will occur.

2021 was a year of ups and downs for all of us. Both within the global movie business and in just about every other one, the COVID-19 pandemic has continued to affect us all and has prevented us from getting back to life as normal.
