Over the last several months, Largo has been running a series of experiments aimed at refining the accuracy of the company’s regional movie gross earning predictions.

This year has been a great year for Largo.

Largo was hosted at one of the most unique film festivals of Europe, Les Arcs Film Festival.

We have recently moved to our new office at EPFL Innovation Park, La Garage. We would like to thank EPFL Innovation Park for providing this office to us.

Such an experience and achievement for Largo at Slush, one of the biggest start-up and tech event in the world.

Ok, so hands up, who amongst you is not secretly sick of watching superhero films? Well, while not everyone has put their hand up, there are certainly enough hands for me to continue.

Our CEO, Sami Arpa, was one of the speakers of Webrazzi 2019, which is Turkish TechCrunch organized in Istanbul.

Largo was a guest of the October edition of Zürich für den Film. The topic of the edition was the implications of artificial intelligence in the movie industry: “success guarantor or death of creativity”. Sami presented our tools for data-assisted moviemaking. 

If you haven’t already heard, data-assisted moviemaking is the next big thing. Through the use of big data analytics, movie productions of all sizes are set to become huge. Big data will impact every part of a movie’s production and distribution.
